I love love color. I’ve been so busy making gifts for others (which I LOVE) but I really wanted to make something snuggly for my family. I’ve really been inspired by Lucy’s beautiful Granny Square creations over at Attic 24 that I wanted to make a big granny square blanket for me and my boys.
Isn’t this just beautiful?
So luscious!
I’ve crafted a few granny squares but I’m not liking them straight up. I think I am going to pull out the outer edge and have four different colors instead of coordinating inner and outer colors.
So squarey!

Thanks Lucy! I am loving this granny thing already. I already have quite the stack of squares going. There’s just something so therapeutic about the repetitive motion and such instant gratification!
